We operate professional-grade DJI LiDAR systems and industry-standard geospatial processing software — delivering data that meets the standards of engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
The DJI L-series represents the current benchmark in commercial drone-based LiDAR technology. Designed for professional survey and mapping applications, these sensors integrate LiDAR scanning with high-resolution imaging and RTK positioning in a single drone-mounted payload.
TerraSight operates DJI Enterprise drones equipped with L-series LiDAR payloads — the same systems used by major engineering firms, mining companies, and survey organizations worldwide. This ensures our data meets the accuracy and quality standards required for professional deliverables.
The result: surveys that are faster, safer, and more cost-effective than traditional ground-based methods — without compromising on accuracy.

Every TerraSight project follows a defined workflow that ensures data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
We work with you to define project requirements, site boundaries, deliverable specifications, and accuracy targets. Flight plans are designed using industry-standard mission planning software to ensure complete coverage and optimal data density.
Where required, ground control points (GCPs) are established across the site using GPS survey equipment. GCPs provide additional checkpoints that validate and enhance the accuracy of aerial data — ensuring results meet engineering-grade standards.
FAA Part 107 certified pilots execute the flight mission using DJI LiDAR-equipped drone systems. Data is recorded simultaneously across LiDAR, RGB, and (when applicable) thermal or multispectral sensors. All data is logged with GNSS timestamps for precise georeferencing.
Raw LiDAR and image data is processed using professional geospatial software. Point clouds are classified, filtered, and validated against ground control. Orthomosaics, DEMs, and 3D models are generated and reviewed for accuracy before delivery.
Final deliverables are packaged in the formats specified for your project and workflows — AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Civil 3D, or raw data exports. A project accuracy report is included with every deliverable package. Files are delivered digitally with full documentation.
TerraSight processes all aerial data using the same professional software platforms used by licensed surveying and engineering firms.
